Coldplay's first album review

 Lyrical, artistic, comfortable, lively, tame, calm, relaxed, understanding, safe, melodic, unique, aethetic, hardworking, beautiful, meaningful, pleasant, clear, mellow, deep. 

I have just summed up in 19 words what I am about to say about Coldplay's debut full-length, Parachutes, in 600. Aside from being clearly tailor-made for the insubstantial adult contemporary market, what is it about this talented quartet that's sending them up the American charts? Is it popularity in their own home country, or their Mercury Music Prize nomination? Could it be their unique presintation of rhythimic music? ... And of course, you've probably heard their soulful hit single, "Yellow," by now. Indeed its the most ideal choice for a single... the creative lyrics are portrayed in a lovely way.
